Just some reminders:

1) Once the snow starts, stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. This not only reduces accidents, but allows the plows to do their job.

2) Predictions are that this snow will be heavy in weight. Shoveling multiple times may seem like more work, but it will be lighter than waiting till the end of the storm.

3) Exercise caution when using snowblowers, tractors amd other mechanical equipment. Watch for other people near where you are working and make sure all equipment is completely off before working on it.

4) Please shovel out and arpund your closest fire hydrant. This helps save time during emergencies.

Your Lincoln volunteers will be staffing our station throughout the storm. Rest assured, we are ready to respond to any emergencies.

Stay safe.
