Airy Fire Company teaching fire prevention. In addition to learning about fire safety, every student got to look at our equipment, walk through a fire truck and got some gifts from both organizations.
We also walked through the school greeting students and we're presented with a ton of thank you cards and posters! Thank you to all of the students and teachers (Ephrata Area SD and Clay Elementary PTO) for the warm welcome.
Throughout the day we also ran three calls including a gas leak on Hammond Ave., a fire alarm on Academy Heights Ave. and a traffic accident on Route 322 in front of Ace Hardware.
