Over the last two weeks approximately 30 our our members completed Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) training

As a rescue company, your Lincoln volunteers are often tasked with the RIT assignment when responding as mutual aid. Rapid Intervention Teams have one job at a fire scene: rescue downed firefighters. If a firefighter becomes hurt, trapped or encounters some other emergency, it is the RIT team that rescues them. Firefighters in this function must have specific skill sets which help accomplish this task if needed. This training helped to teach and refresh those skills.
