Sunday evening Lincoln Fire along with mutual aid was dispatched for a first due house fire

Thankfully the incident was minor and there was no fire just smoke throughout the home from unattended cooking. Lincoln had 15 Volunteers on scene. Below are some pictures of those Volunteers who stop whatever they are doing immediately to respond to assist those in need. Lincoln is blessed to have a great group of Volunteers, but could always use more. Do you want to help fill these roles? We are always looking for firefighters and fire police. If you aren't interested in those active roles we always have support roles as well such as fundraising, technical savvy people with data entry, computers, ipads and so on. Stop by on a Tuesday night and meet your Lincoln Volunteers and pick up an application.
