Within minutes chief officers from Lincoln arrived with smoke showing from the bravo and charlie side of the building, but no visible fire. Initially an interior attack was attempted but crews were pulled soon after making entry. The first two pictures taken below were from about 5 minutes after the arrival of the first engine and truck company. You can see the rapid fire growth and why the fire was made defensive. Later into the incident crews were allowed back in to hold the fire at the fire wall and keep it from spreading to the Martin Appliance side. As you can see from last picture this was achieved with Martin Appliance side having virtually no fire damage although damage to that side was still extensive from smoke and water. Again a big thanks to all mutual aid departments for all their efforts.
