Our weekend started out on Friday afternoon as the high winds blew through the area

Since then, this is what your Lincoln volunteers have been up to:

- Friday at 1:51pm: Traffic control at Durlach Road and Main Street due to multiple downed poles.
- Friday at 2:04pm: assist Station 19 with wires down.
- Friday at 11:04pm: Trash fire on Rettew Mill Road which turned out to be a tree stump from a previous controlled burn.
- Saturday at 5:24am: Squrt 16 was dispatched to assist Station 12 with a dwelling fire. Recalled while enroute.
- Saturday at 7:31am: Dispatched to a multiple vehicle accident with fire and possible entrapment at Durlach Road and Main Street. Fire Police from Lincoln as well as Durlach/Mt. Airy Fire Company, Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company, and Cocalico Area Fire Department remained on scene until approximately 2pm for traffic control while the police investigated the scene.
- Saturday 9:02am: Dispatched to a fire alarm along with Station 15. Arrived onscene and confirmed false alarm.
- Saturday 10am to 230pm: Volunteers escorted Santa Claus around our coverage area.
- Saturday 2:19pm: Dispatched to an investigation call at the Cloister Garden Apartment which was upgraded to a building fire while enroute. Crews discovered a haze in an apartment and spent approximately 1 hour onscene. We were assisted by Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company and Akron Volunteer Fire Company 12 oncene.
