| This is what our firefighters depend on to notify them of calls. The pagers are set off by Lancaster County Communication through a series of tones. Each fire company has their own tone which activates the pagers for the organization. Following a series of loud beeping, the dispatcher then says what type of emergency is being dispatched, the location and what units (firetrucks) are specifically needed.
These pagers are not cheap, but they are the primary notification method used by our volunteers. Without your support, we would not be able to purchase these alerting devices. Help us, help you and donate today! |
