Reading Road at Family Dollar in our first due. Deputy 16 arrived finding a haze in the store with an odor and several burn marks in the ceiling. Crews found several burned areas in the ceiling running the length of the store. The source was traced back to a shorted out electrical supply to an HVAC unit. Crews found melted conduit and wires above the ceiling and in a 2nd floor room. Luckily nothing else ignited as this could have been so much worse. Lincoln had 17 Volunteers on scene. Thanks to our mutual aid companies who assisted.
