Yesterday the Lincoln Volunteers along with multiple mutual aid departments were dispatched to Hackman Rd in Clay Township for a building fire. Deputy 16 arrived with a working fire with multiple exposures and quickly upgraded to 2nd alarm due to the multiple exposures and wind driven fire. As the first units began to arrive the fire extended to the main barn and detached garage, crews quickly dedicated their efforts onto these two buildings along with the exposures of the modular home and main house. A great team effort by all crews on scene saved all these buildings with some sustaining minor damage. Special thanks to Akron Fire and Fivepointville Fire for covering our station along with helping to clean and load our hose. Lincoln had 29 Volunteers on scene.
